We wish to acknowledge the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British High Commission for supporting the development of the Action Plan for Countering Violent Extremism in Kilifi County (APCVE- KC). We appreciate the role played by Development Alternatives International for administering the funds. We further extend our gratitude to Prof Hamadi Boga (Taita Taveta University) and Prof Halimu Shauri (Pwani University) who guided the development of the Plan.
