As KECOSCE enters its next phase of growth, sustainability and national positioning, we are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and results-driven professional to help turn our Business Plan into growth, partnerships and resources for impact.

- Identify and cultivate opportunities with donors, foundations, corporations, government and strategic partners.
- Lead or coordinate compelling concept notes, proposals, pitches, expressions of interest and partnership propositions.
- Develop opportunities for unrestricted/flexible funding, consultancy, training, technical assistance and other approved own-source revenue.
- Strengthen KECOSCE’s value proposition, market positioning and strategic relationships.
- Provide timely donor intelligence, opportunity analysis and pipeline reporting to management.
- Track and deliver against agreed resource mobilisation, partnership and Business Plan targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, International Development, Communications, Public Policy, Social Sciences or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in resource mobilisation, fundraising, business development, partnerships, grants or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in proposal development and/or successful resource mobilisation.
- Strong knowledge of Kenya’s development, NGO/PBO and donor landscape.
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, networking and negotiation skills.
You will work directly with senior leadership to help shape KECOSCE’s next phase of growth, including:
- Implementing the Business Plan and resource mobilisation strategy;
- Building high-value relationships across the development, government, private and philanthropic sectors;
- Developing new partnership and income-generation models;
- Positioning KECOSCE as a credible strategic, technical and implementing partner;
- Supporting growth across KECOSCE’s areas of work, including governance, peacebuilding, PVE, human rights, gender, climate resilience, livelihoods, WASH and organisational development.
