KECOSCE is seeking to recruit a Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Officer to join its team of self driven staff and contribute to the achievement of the organization’s vision.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Position
The Resources Mobilization and Partnership officer is located in KECOSCE’s Office in Mombasa. Reporting to the Executive Director and a member of the senior leadership team, the officer spearheads the overall effort to build partnerships, reporting functions, and mobilize an appropriate and sustainable funding base in KECOSCE. The incumbent will support implementation of KECOSCE’s resource mobilization strategy and lead reporting functions including timely preparation and completion of donor reports, proposals, presentations, and briefing papers and the annual report, sitreps, amongst others. S/he will also lead capacity development of the team in result-based reporting, analytical writing and other skills required for quality proposals and donors reporting that is fundamental to KECOSCE’s partnership management, advocacy and resource mobilization.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in development studies, social sciences and/or business administration, public administration or related field.
- Background in planning, reporting and resource mobilization preferable with knowledge of donor policies and procedures preferable;
- 3 years progressively relevant experience;
- Strong analytical ability and professional experience in representing an organization;
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are necessary in this position.
- Advanced computer skills are necessary;
